Caitlin Clark’s Reaction to Another Cameraman Draws Fan Criticism: “She’s acting like a prima donna”

Caitlin Clark’s latest viral WNBA moment has sparked another wave of online scrutiny after an older video involving the Indiana Fever star and a cameraman resurfaced.

The latest debate followed Indiana’s 111-91 win over the Connecticut Sun on Friday. Clark was seen making contact with a cameraman as she walked away from a courtside interview and headed toward the locker room.

Resurfaced Caitlin Clark video renews criticism

Some viewers described the brief interaction as unnecessary, while others said it appeared to be an awkward moment in a crowded courtside area. The reaction intensified when an older clip, believed to be from Clark’s injury-plagued 2025 season, began circulating again.

In that footage, Clark appeared to confront another cameraman after his equipment seemed to come close to striking her in the face. She looked visibly irritated as the cameraman appeared to explain what had happened.

Viewed together, the two clips prompted critics to question Clark’s behavior around media personnel.

“Yeah…she’s being a prima donna here. She didn’t need to go hard [expletive] to make a point to the guy,” one user wrote on X. Another called her “Insufferable.”

The two situations are not identical. In the older video, Clark appeared to be responding to a camera that nearly hit her. Friday’s incident showed her moving past a cameraman after an interview.

That distinction has been overlooked in parts of the online reaction, where both moments have been used to make broader judgments about Clark’s personality.

“The man is just trying to do his job. This is why no one likes her,” one social-media user wrote. Another said: “It’s called entitlement.”

The clips do not provide enough context to establish what was said before or after either interaction, and there is no indication that either incident resulted in formal discipline.

They do highlight how quickly even minor moments involving Clark can become major talking points.

Caitlin Clark continues to lead the Fever

The latest controversy came after one of Clark’s strongest performances of the season. She scored 34 points, recorded 12 assists and made six three-pointers as Indiana defeated Connecticut to improve to 26-14.

Clark is averaging 22.5 points and a league-leading 8.4 assists. The numbers represent a significant rebound after injuries limited her to 13 games in 2025.

Indiana enters the FIBA Women’s World Cup break with four regular-season games remaining and a strong position in the playoff race.

The contrast surrounding Clark remains clear: on the court, she is again performing like one of the WNBA’s biggest stars, while off the court, nearly every visible interaction is being dissected in real time.

Neymar Couldn’t Figure Out What Was Wrong With the Ball

Neymar appeared puzzled by the match ball during warm-ups, repeatedly examining it before play began. The Brazilian forward turned it from side to side, bounced it, rolled it across the ground and inspected it closely, as though something about its size or feel seemed unusual.

He also looked around to see whether anyone else had noticed the same issue, but no one appeared to react. At first glance, the ball seemed slightly larger than expected, leaving Neymar visibly confused.

The player eventually walked over to the other balls prepared for the warm-up and examined them one by one. However, none of them appeared to satisfy him, and he continued to look uncertain about the equipment he was about to use.

  • Lewis Hamilton Reveals Ferrari F40 Restoration Project After Selling His Entire Car Collection

Lewis Hamilton Reveals Ferrari F40 Restoration Project After Selling His Entire Car Collection

Lewis Hamilton has revealed that he has acquired a rare Ferrari F40, fulfilling a lifelong dream. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion shared the news alongside photos of the classic supercar undergoing what appears to be an engine-out restoration.

“My very own F40. This is the car of my dreams and has been for as long as I can remember,” Hamilton wrote. “As a kid I dreamt of having one. When I joined Ferrari last year I made sure to have one with me on my first day at Maranello. That’s how much it means to me.

“These cars are works of art and incredibly rare, so when I found this one, covered in dust after being sat in a garage for over thirty years, I knew I had to bring her home.

“First to Maranello, where the master engineers and mechanics at the factory worked for weeks to bring her back to life. Massive thank you to everyone who had a hand in this project. This has truly been a dream come true.”

The Ferrari driver also hinted that he could share a behind-the-scenes look at the restoration process, potentially through his YouTube channel.

“I can’t wait to share more with you all. Stay tuned…” he teased.

Hamilton’s post, shared on Monday 31 August, had already received more than 278,000 likes.

Hamilton had been searching for a Ferrari F40

The 41-year-old driver confirmed in 2025 that he had sold his entire car collection, although he said at the time that he was still hoping to acquire a Ferrari F40.

Speaking ahead of the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Hamilton confirmed that he had parted ways with his impressive collection. It was understood to have included a Pagani Zonda 760 LH, a Mercedes-AMG Project One, a Ferrari LaFerrari and a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427, among other cars.

“I don’t have any cars anymore,” he said at the time. “I don’t have any cars, so I got rid of all my cars. I’m more into art nowadays. If I was going to get a car, it would be the F40. But that’s a nice piece of art.”
