DJ Mustard’s Ex-Wife Chanel McFarlane Chased Down Alleged Burglars

Chanel McFarlane, who finalized her divorce from music producer DJ Mustard in 2023, found herself at the center of a real-life security incident when she confronted alleged burglars near her property.

    Security Footage Captures Confrontation

Video evidence obtained from security cameras positioned around the area shows McFarlane taking decisive action during the encounter. The footage reveals the moment she intervened as individuals allegedly attempted to burglarize a location in her vicinity.

Background on McFarlane and DJ Mustard

McFarlane and DJ Mustard, whose legal name is Dijon McFarlane, ended their marriage last year after several years together. The former couple shares children, and their divorce proceedings were finalized in 2023. Since the separation, McFarlane has maintained a relatively private profile outside of occasional public appearances and social media activity.

DJ Mustard, a Grammy-nominated producer known for his work with artists including YG, Ty Dolla Sign, and Rihanna, has continued his music career following the divorce.

    Ongoing Investigation

Law enforcement authorities are reviewing the security camera footage as part of their investigation into the alleged burglary attempt. Details regarding potential charges or the identities of the individuals involved have not been publicly released at this time.

The incident marks an unexpected turn for McFarlane, who has largely stayed out of headlines since her high-profile divorce from one of hip-hop’s most recognizable producers.

  • Lindsay Clancy ‘Scared’ and ‘Nervous’ Amid Jury Deliberations

Lindsay Clancy ‘Scared’ and ‘Nervous’ Amid Jury Deliberations

Lindsay Clancy is “scared” and “nervous” as the jury deliberates her case, according to her attorney, Kevin Reddington. Speaking on Thursday as jurors began their first day of deliberations, Reddington described his client’s anxious state but emphasized that he remains optimistic about the outcome.

Attorney Describes Client’s State During Deliberations

Reddington provided the update to reporters outside the courthouse, noting that the start of jury deliberations marks a critical phase in the high-profile proceedings. While Clancy awaits the verdict, her legal team continues to express confidence in their defense strategy.

The case has drawn significant public attention since Clancy was charged in connection with the deaths of her three children in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Her defense has centered on severe postpartum mental health struggles, including allegations of postpartum psychosis and the effects of prescribed medication.

    Jury Begins Weighing Evidence

Jurors received their instructions earlier Thursday before retiring to the deliberation room. The panel must reach a unanimous verdict on multiple charges, which include murder and strangulation counts. Legal observers note that deliberations in complex cases involving mental health defenses can extend over several days.

Reddington’s public remarks reflect a defense strategy that has consistently highlighted Clancy’s documented psychiatric history and the systemic failures her team argues contributed to the tragedy. The prosecution, meanwhile, has maintained that Clancy acted with intent and premeditation.

As deliberations continue, both the defense and prosecution teams remain on standby at the courthouse, awaiting the jury’s decision.

  • GTA 6 Netflix Extended Look: Everything Revealed

GTA 6 Netflix Extended Look: Everything Revealed

Rockstar Games has released an official “extended look” at Grand Theft Auto VI, giving fans their most detailed preview yet of the highly anticipated game. The footage arrives more than a decade after the release of its predecessor, following years of speculation, delayed release dates, and leaked gameplay clips.

Rockstar partnered with Netflix to present the preview, and despite exceptionally high expectations, the response from fans has been broadly positive.

    Grand Theft Auto VI characters

The extended look offers the clearest picture yet of the GTA 6 storyline, which follows playable criminals Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.

Dazed magazine described Duval as “an ex-military drug runner” and Lucia as “a fighter fresh out of prison.” The game will feature a ““a Bonnie and Clyde-type narrative,” with players switching between the two characters.

The Netflix footage provides additional insight into their personalities. Jason appears to be a man of few words and says he is more comfortable using a gun than using his words. Lucia is portrayed as both a capable fighter and an experienced criminal.

    GTA 6 plot details

The preview appears to show an early mission in which Jason and Lucia are pulled into Vice City’s criminal underworld. During a botched pickup in an apartment tower, they interact with several characters inside a drug den. The situation escalates when police arrive, leading to a shootout that the pair manages to escape.

Another sequence shows Jason and Lucia working as security for a wealthy client. During an upscale party, armed kidnappers eventually ambush the client.

The presentation, including the gameplay footage, has a highly cinematic style that places a strong emphasis on the game’s story. More detailed plot information has also been revealed elsewhere, although these scenes contain potential spoilers.

GTA 6 graphics and visual detail

The graphics shown in the preview are exceptionally detailed. Character clothing, facial expressions, NPC hair, and the surrounding environments all feature an impressive level of visual fidelity.

The quality is not entirely unexpected given the game’s long development cycle and the enormous expectations surrounding it. Even so, the footage makes a strong impression, particularly in its depiction of characters and the world of Vice City.

    GTA 6 soundtrack and music

Music has always been a major part of the Grand Theft Auto experience, and driving through Vice City while switching between radio stations will once again be central to the game.

Previous GTA 6 trailers featured Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road” and The Pointer Sisters’ “Hot Together.” The Netflix extended look also included music from Kodak Black, Def Leppard, and Phil Collins.

Other artists heard in the preview include Depeche Mode; Birdman featuring Lil Wayne; Captain & Tennille; Cliff Richard; Prefab Sprout; B one El Productor De Oro; Chimbala; Omega; Aluna & Jayda G; Elderbrook & Bob Moses; and The Bellamy Brothers.

    GTA 6 gameplay features

Although the anonymous leaker known as Cyberleek has previously released a large amount of GTA 6 content, Rockstar’s official preview still revealed major gameplay elements that had not been shown before.

For example, the preview includes extensive gameplay footage featuring Lucia as a playable character. Earlier reports had noted the apparent lack of footage showing Lucia in that role.

Previously leaked gameplay also featured a small demon-head icon in the corner of the screen. The new footage suggests that the icon may represent a game mechanic that tracks a character’s morality or honor, although its precise effects remain unclear.

Social media also appears to play a significant role in GTA 6. In one sequence, Lucia steals a car and discovers someone in the trunk doing “the trunk challenge.” Later, the same character rides in the trunk and livestreams while Lucia evades police, with chat messages appearing on screen. The relationship between this feature and the apparent honor system is not yet clear, but social media seems to be integrated into the game world.

    Slow-motion aiming mode

During the mission in which Jason and Lucia protect a client from an armed kidnapping crew, both characters are shown using conventional weapon-aiming mechanics. At one point, however, the game shifts into a slow-motion aiming mode, causing enemy weak points to glow red.

NPC interactions similar to Red Dead Redemption 2

GTA 6 also appears to introduce a new system for interacting with non-playable characters. One example shown in the footage allows the player to pet a dog.

The system appears similar to the NPC interaction mechanics in Red Dead Redemption II, another popular Rockstar Games title.

    Racing and car activities

Racing appears to be a major part of the game. Jason and Lucia are shown competing in multiple environments, including what appears to be a dedicated race track.

Lucia also participates in a dirt-bike race on a dirt track, while another clip depicts drag racing on city streets. Players interested in racing and vehicle customization could have plenty to explore in GTA 6.

    Scuba diving and base jumping

One of the preview’s most striking scenes shows Lucia base jumping from a skyscraper, deploying her parachute, and gliding over Vice City. Another sequence confirms that players will be able to go scuba diving.

    Eating, drinking, and fitness

Dazed magazine reported that eating and drinking will be part of the game, with Jason and Lucia able to gain or lose weight depending on their diet and exercise.

The extended look shows Jason eating while a heart meter appears on screen, as well as Lucia lifting weights. Players can also open refrigerators, drink beer, and smoke cigars through interactive character actions.

The full extended look is scheduled to become available on YouTube at 9 p.m. ET. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on Nov. 19.

  • Unabomber Victim’s Son Blasts Netflix Over New Movie

Unabomber Victim’s Son Blasts Netflix Over New Movie

Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming documentary film Unabomber, reigniting public discourse around one of America’s most notorious domestic terrorists. The streaming giant dropped the preview on Thursday, offering a fresh look at the investigation and capture of Theodore Kaczynski, who carried out a nationwide mail bombing campaign between 1978 and 1995 that killed three people and injured 23 others.

    Victim’s Son Condemns Film Release

The trailer launch has drawn sharp criticism from the family of those targeted by Kaczynski. The son of one victim expressed strong opposition to the project, stating that Kaczynski isn’t a person whose actions should be justified or normalized and adding that he is pissed about Netflix’s new film “Unabomber.”

    Documentary Reignites Ethical Debate

The controversy highlights ongoing tensions between true crime storytelling and the potential for re-traumatizing victims and their families. Critics argue that revisiting high-profile cases like the Unabomber investigation risks glorifying perpetrators, while supporters contend such documentaries serve an important historical and educational purpose.

Netflix has not yet responded publicly to the criticism. The film is expected to feature archival footage, interviews with investigators, and analysis of Kaczynski’s manifesto, which was published by major newspapers in 1995 at the urging of the FBI and ultimately led to his identification and arrest by his brother, David Kaczynski.

Streaming Platforms and True Crime Content

The release adds to a growing catalog of true crime content on major streaming platforms, a genre that continues to drive significant viewership despite ethical concerns. Industry analysts note that documentary films examining notorious criminal cases consistently rank among the most-watched non-fiction programming, creating commercial incentives for platforms to produce similar content.

Unabomber is scheduled to premiere on Netflix later this year, though an exact release date has not been announced.

Fans react to the GTA 6 gameplay reveal

After seeing a series of out-of-context clips leaked from an older build, social media could have been expected to tear the game apart. Instead, Rockstar Games appears to have done enough to satisfy its fans, judging by the reaction across social media. Even Major League Baseball weighed in.
