    Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ the “Good Morning America” anchor and Kayla became parents together in 2026, adding a daughter to Strahan’s family. The couple has kept the pregnancy and birth private, with no public announcement until now.

    Strahan’s Growing Family

    Strahan, 53, is already a father to four children from previous relationships: Tanita, Michael Jr., and twins Sophia and Isabella. The newborn marks his first child with Quick, his partner of several years.

    Quick Maintains Low Profile

    Quick, who works in the hospitality industry, has largely stayed out of the spotlight during their relationship. The pair have been linked since at least 2015, though they rarely appear together at public events or on social media.

The FX and Hulu series remains a warm, chaotic hangout comedy about five housemates learning what it means to be grown-up, but its second season proves the show is capable of something truly great.

    Created by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, Adults follows Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao) and Anton (Owen Thiele) as they navigate the misadventures of adulthood. While the characters frequently struggle to act like adults, the series itself has experienced no such growing pains. Season 2 is more self-assured than the first, with its already impressive ensemble performing at the top of its game.

    Adults Season 2 takes bigger comedic risks

    The series swings for the fences this season, moving confidently between cringe comedy and screwball farce. Billie’s attempt to remove a compromising photo from social media and Anton’s effort to save his job after an intergenerational misunderstanding both showcase the characters’ tendency to trip over their own feet. Their mistakes are often painful to watch, but they remain irresistibly endearing.

    Adults’s screwball instincts are most effective in an episode built around an acid trip that goes awry when a raccoon wanders into the house. What initially seems like a predictable story about psychedelic chaos becomes a ticking-clock comedy, as the friends must deal with the animal before the acid takes effect.

    Unfolding in real time, the episode becomes a madcap countdown that distills the group’s complicated relationships before completely upending them. It is a genuine turning point for the series, yet it still finds room for ridiculous practical animal effects and the kind of relatable observational humor that creates an immediate connection between viewers and the friend group.

    Internet paywall jokes filled that role in Season 1, but Season 2’s funniest moment may be the episode’s gag about confusing a microwave’s normal timer with its cook timer. It is a simple joke, but it is hard, dang it!

    The cast remains Adults’s greatest strength

    The raccoon episode is also one of the few occasions when all five central actors spend an entire episode together in isolation, further demonstrating their airtight chemistry. They are excellent as a group, but Season 2 also gives each performer opportunities to stand out individually.

    In Elassal’s performance, Samir’s tendency to overthink creates some of the season’s most stressful comedic dilemmas. Freyer carries many of the most awkward storylines with impressive control, navigating cringe comedy with grace and a series of inspired pratfalls.

    Innanen briefly moves away from Paul Baker’s gentle “soft boy” sweetness to play a fratty bro type, and the contrast gives the season an immediate burst of energy. Rao and Thiele are both high-energy charisma bombs who light up the screen, but this season also allows them to pull back and reveal more vulnerability.

    A late-season episode that pits Rao’s and Thiele’s characters against each other at the office is an instant highlight. It is also proof that the cast’s chemistry is strong enough to sustain countless more episodes.

    Adults Season 2 needs longer episodes and seasons

    Unfortunately, viewers cannot spend forever with this group because Season 2 runs for only eight episodes, or nine if the prequel released earlier this year is included. That is not enough time to spend with the characters, especially when the central appeal of the series is its hangout-sitcom format.

    The short season does ensure that every episode feels polished, with no genuine weak link among them. Still, larger stories can be felt pressing against the edges of the season. The finale, in which Paul Baker runs for president of the local Homeowners Association, could easily have become a three-episode campaign arc in another sitcom.

    The same is true of the fan-favorite slow-burn romance between Anton and Paul Baker. More episodes would give the series room to develop that yearning, along with the other relationships that make the show so compelling.

    When Adults first premiered, it drew comparisons to Friends because of its similar “friends in New York” conceit. The biggest difference between the two series, however, is not their comedic styles or the generations that created them. It is simply that viewers had more time to spend with Friends.

    Audiences could watch Friends week after week for roughly 20 weeks each season and feel like part of the group. Not every episode needed to be perfect. Sitcoms benefit from a little looseness and room to grow, just like their characters.

    Adults viewers appear to agree. Comment sections on videos about the series are filled with demands for 22-episode seasons, complete with holiday specials. If even a quarter of those additional episodes matched the quality of Season 2, they would be more than welcome.

    After all, when the biggest criticism of a show is that there is not enough of it, that is a strong sign it is doing something right.

    Adults Season 2 premieres Aug. 27 at 9 p.m. ET on Hulu and FXX.

    An individual or group using the name Cyberleek has steadily leaked GTA VI clips over the past several days. Rockstar publicly acknowledged the leak on Wednesday and confirmed that the footage was authentic—an unusual move for the company.

    Latest GTA VI leaks

    Cyberleek does not appear to have released any new footage on Thursday morning. Although the leaks may not be over, the latest available clips were published by the end of Wednesday and include:

    • Strip club: A short clip shows protagonist Jason walking through a strip club.
    • Beach cycling: Jason rides a bicycle along a beach filled with a large number of non-player characters.
    • Video game store: Jason explores a video game shop, an ironic setting given that GTA VI will not be released on disc.
    • Police chase: Jason steals a high-end car and is pursued by police before a brief cutscene introduces the other protagonist, Lucia.
    • Lucia’s prologue: Nearly five minutes of story cutscenes, seemingly from the beginning of the game, show Lucia leaving prison.

    The Lucia prologue appears to be the final GTA VI leak for now. It remains unclear whether Cyberleek will continue releasing footage after Rockstar’s major Netflix trailer arrives at 3 p.m. ET.

    After months of speculation, Rockstar Games is finally set to show official Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay footage ahead of the game’s November release.

    When to watch the GTA VI extended look

    Rockstar Games will present “an extended look” at GTA VI on Netflix today, Aug. 27, at 3 p.m. ET. Viewers who cannot or do not want to watch it on Netflix will be able to see the same footage on Rockstar’s YouTube channel at 9 p.m. ET.

    The Netflix website describes the event by stating, “Coming August 27: See an extended look at Grand Theft Auto VI, the next evolution in the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto series.

    Rockstar and Netflix have not called the presentation a trailer, however, leaving the exact format unclear. Rockstar’s announcement also did not include new footage or a detailed description of what fans will see.

    What could the GTA VI footage show?

    Fans have been speculating for months about the arrival of the next GTA VI trailer. With the game scheduled to launch on Nov. 19 and very little official gameplay shown so far, the extended look could offer one of the clearest previews yet of Rockstar’s highly anticipated open-world game.

    In recent days, leakers have also shared purported footage online, but this Netflix and YouTube presentation will be the first official look at the game in this format.

    It is also unusual for a major game trailer to debut on a paid streaming service. Rockstar’s decision to use Netflix for the initial broadcast makes the GTA VI reveal notably different from the industry’s usual announcement strategy.

    Schroder doubles down on controversial tribute

    Schroder, 56, worked with Parton in the 2015 television film Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors and its 2016 sequel Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love. In his initial Instagram post, shared alongside an image of the pair that was flagged for “AI content,” Schroder wrote:

    “I didnt [sic] agree with her advocating for Transgender & Covid Vaccine support… but Loved her anyway.

    Despite immediate criticism, Schroder followed up with a second post on his Instagram story. Quoting a 2020 video in which Parton urged COVID-19 vaccination, he wrote:

    Parton’s vaccine advocacy and LGBTQ+ support

    Parton donated $1 million (£716,000) to Vanderbilt University Medical Center during the pandemic to help fund the Moderna vaccine. She publicly promoted the vaccine once available, including a widely shared video where she reimagined her hit “Jolene”:

    “Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, I’m begging of you, please don’t hesitate,” she sang. “Vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, vaccine, cause once you’re dead, that’s a bit too late.”

    In the same video, Parton stated:

    “I’m old enough to get it and I’m smart enough to get it.”

    Beyond public health advocacy, Parton was renowned for her philanthropy. Her Imagination Library has gifted millions of books to children across five countries, and she was a longtime supporter of LGBTQ+ equality.

    Swift and widespread backlash

    Criticism came from across the entertainment industry and social media. Journalist Katie Couric responded with a single word on Threads:

    while numerous social media users questioned the necessity of Schroder’s comments. One commenter wrote:

    Parton’s goddaughter shared an emotional Instagram tribute:

    Swift, whom Parton had previously praised as a “great inspiration,” penned a lengthy statement:

    Shelen Says Parents Forcing Children to Make TikToks Is Child Labor

    Kareem Rahma’s Subway Takes series is known for its sharp takes, and the latest episode turns its attention to parents who make influencers and social media stars out of their children.

    In a video posted Wednesday, Rahma took the London Underground—not the New York Subway—with British content creator, podcaster and presenter Shelen. Shelen criticized parents who repeatedly feature their children in TikTok videos.

    “Forcing your child to do a TikTok is child labor,” she said. “I’m not talking to parents who have a child and the child pops up in a vlog every now and again. I’m not talking to people who capture an organically, genuinely hilarious moment, post it on the internet, and we all laugh. I’m talking about the parents that make their child clock in, like they need to earn their keep.”

    “Content work is real work,”

    Rahma agreed. I do it. It’s hard. It’s hard work.

    The legal and ethical risks of child influencer content

    Shelen’s argument examines the legal and ethical problems that arise when parents make money from online videos featuring their children. She discussed the profits involved, the risk of online child sexual exploitation, parents giving away the rights to their children’s images and the possibility that a child’s likeness could be manipulated using artificial intelligence.

    “People are thinking, Shelen, you know what? Posting my child is easy money. Yes, that tends to be the law behind child labor. Do you know what I’m saying? It doesn’t make it OK,”

    Shelen added.

    In the UK, there are currently no specific child labor laws regulating child influencers or creators. Children under 14 can work part-time in entertainment industries such as television and theater, but they need a performance license, along with parental consent and supervision. They are not eligible for the National Minimum Wage until they are 16.

    Children can begin full-time work of up to 40 hours a week after turning 16. However, these rules do not apply to influencers or content creators. Existing child labor laws were not designed for social media work, creating a potential regulatory gap.

    US states are beginning to protect child influencers

    In the United States, regulations vary from state to state. Illinois became the first state to pass a law protecting child influencers in 2023. The law allows children under 16 working “in an artistic or creative service” to sue if they are not paid for appearing in online content made by their parents or guardians.

    California, Minnesota and Utah have since introduced similar laws.

    “I feel like one day laws will change, society will change, these kids will grow up, and they will sue their asses,” said Shelen in her Subway Takes episode. “And I can’t wait to watch.”

    Identical Twins with Parallel Acting Careers

    Born on October 7, 1979, in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, Shawn and Aaron Ashmore are identical twins, with Shawn older by one minute. Both have built successful acting careers, often leading to cases of mistaken identity.

    Shawn Ashmore gained global recognition as Bobby Drake, aka Iceman, in the X-Men film series. He also appeared in two episodes of Smallville as Eric Summers. Aaron Ashmore played Jimmy Olsen in 53 episodes of Smallville and joined Ginny & Georgia in its third season (2023), appearing in 14 episodes as Gil Timmins.

    Early Career: Coin Flips and Commercial Casting

    The brothers’ striking resemblance shaped their entry into the entertainment industry. As children, they auditioned for commercials together, and casting directors frequently struggled to tell them apart.

    Shawn recounted the experience to US Weekly:

    “When we were doing commercials, they would call us back in after we both auditioned,”

    he said.

    “And [they] said, ‘We love you guys both. And so it’s fair, we’re gonna flip a coin so that you guys can see it’s not preferential treatment.’”

    That scenario repeated multiple times.

    “That happened four or five times where they’d say, ‘Hey, come on, come in, we’re gonna hire one of you.”

    Shawn continued:

    Aaron was initially cast for their first commercial but fell ill on the shoot day. Shawn stepped in as his double — a moment that foreshadowed a career defined by their uncanny similarity.

    After each Fritz victory, he will share a unique text-to-win code on his Instagram Story at @taylor_fritz. Fans must text the code to 888-222. Those who respond quickly enough will receive a BOGO entrée offer redeemable through the Chipotle app or Chipotle’s website.

    The number of available codes increases as Fritz advances:

    • Round 1: 2,500 BOGO offers
    • Round 2: 3,000 BOGO offers
    • Round 3: 3,500 BOGO offers
    • Round of 16: 4,000 BOGO offers
    • Quarter-final: 4,500 BOGO offers
    • Semi-final: 5,000 BOGO offers
    • Final: 10,000 BOGO offers

    The promotion ends when all codes for a particular round have been claimed or when that round’s offer period ends, whichever comes first. It is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C. who are at least 13 years old. Each person may claim one code per round that Fritz advances. Chipotle will notify winners by text, and standard text and data rates apply.

    Fritz has been a Team Chipotle athlete for three seasons. He wears the brand’s logo on his sleeve during tournaments and has a Chipotle Celebrity Card that gives him free food for life. Earlier this month, he also said he ate Chipotle on every off day and before every night match during his title run in Washington, D.C.

    “Anyone who follows me knows I eat a lot of Chipotle when I’m playing tournaments,” Fritz said. “I love that every time I win a singles match in New York, fans have another chance to score a BOGO. I’m trying to make them give away as much as possible.”

    Because the codes are expected to be claimed quickly, fans will want to follow @taylor_fritz throughout the tournament for each new giveaway.
