Illness Hit During Production of the New Movie
Hartnett’s account highlights the physical difficulties he faced while working on Verity. The food poisoning was severe enough to affect his ability to walk, creating a major challenge while he was filming.
The timing was particularly unfortunate because the illness occurred during the production of Verity, rather than outside the demands of making the film. Hartnett later discussed the experience during a press tour for the new movie.
