Jared Leto has quietly sold his massive Los Angeles mansion, a former Air Force compound, for $12 million.
The actor and singer sold the 14,649-square-foot estate in May. The timing of the sale could raise some eyebrows, although no further details were provided.

Amanda Seyfried is further establishing her East Coast roots after listing her 2,700-square-foot Los Angeles home for approximately $3.2 million. The Oscar-nominated actor primarily lives on a farm in upstate New York.
Seyfried purchased the traditional-style residence from her Jennifer’s Body co-star Adam Brody in 2011 for $1.85 million. Before Brody owned the property, it belonged to Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.
Completed in 1916, the two-story Hollywood Hills house sits behind gates and tall hedges. The home includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a formal living room with a fireplace, a white-and-blue kitchen, a sunroom, a balcony, and a spacious porch overlooking the backyard.
The landscaped grounds feature a swimming pool and spa, pergola-shaded loungers, a detached garage converted into a gym, and gardens.
The vintage, countryside-inspired style associated with the The Testament of Ann Lee star is evident throughout the property. A breakfast nook is covered in floral wallpaper reminiscent of a Laura Ashley print, while dark hardwood floors and antique-style light fixtures add to the home’s historic character.
“I grew up in a stone house,” Seyfried told AD during a tour of her Manhattan pied-à-terre. “I just love history, and I love the smell of old wood. History has a smell to it. You know what I mean?”
