Patrick Mahomes celebrated his wife Brittany Mahomes’ 31st birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute and a night out at a Backstreet Boys concert in Las Vegas.
The couple shared photos from the birthday festivities, including matching outfits, family moments and a three-tiered cake featuring a portrait of the Mahomes family.
“Happy Birthday! ❤️ Love you Forever ❤️,” the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 30, wrote in a social media post on Monday, Aug. 31. The post included photos of the couple and their three children: daughter Sterling, 5; son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 3; and daughter Golden Raye, 19 months.

Brittany, who married Mahomes in 2022, shared photos from her birthday celebration on Instagram Monday, her actual birthday. The carousel included candid images of the couple attending the Backstreet Boys’ “Into the Millennium” residency at the Sphere.
For the concert, the couple coordinated in blue-and-white varsity jackets featuring the band’s name. They added white baseball hats and blue-tinted sunglasses before posing near the stage.

Other photos showed Brittany wearing a structured white button-down top with a matching miniskirt, denim and knee-high boots. Mahomes wore a white T-shirt beneath a tan jacket with matching pants.

Brittany celebrated her birthday ahead of the start of the 2026 NFL season. Mahomes is preparing to enter his 10th season in the league with the Chiefs.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Aug. 25, Mahomes said his phone time is limited during training camp but that he always makes time to text his wife.
“St. Joe’s dorm rooms, man, you don’t get a lot of text messages,” Mahomes said of the rooms at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo., where the Chiefs hold training camp. “I just try to make sure I text Brittany. If I text Brittany, I’m usually in a good spot.”
The Chiefs will open the season at home on Monday, Sept. 14, against the Denver Broncos.
Mahomes’ status for Week 1 remains uncertain after he suffered a season-ending injury last December when he tore his ACL.

Jason Kelce has publicly criticized a costly technique error by Kansas City Chiefs guard Trey Smith, despite previously being one of the offensive lineman’s biggest admirers.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center reacted after Seattle Seahawks linebacker Jared Ivey beat Smith during Kansas City’s preseason finale. Kelce said the mistake was not caused by a lack of strength or talent, but by poor technique.
