    “He is resting comfortably and looking forward to a full recovery.”

    The spokesperson added that Harrison has expressed gratitude to the medical team and is surrounded by family during his recuperation.

    “He is grateful for the doctors and staff at the hospital and that his wife and family can be with him during this time,”

    the representative said.

    Family Health Challenges Continue in 2026

    This health scare comes months after another significant incident involving the Harrison family. In January, Rick’s son Corey Harrison, 43, suffered a severe motorbike accident in Tulum, Mexico, just days before his father’s wedding.

    The crash left Corey with extensive injuries, including 11 fractured ribs, a punctured lung, a concussion, and internal bleeding. Despite the severity, he has since made a full recovery, with updates provided in March by his friend Aaron Chambers, who organized a GoFundMe campaign to assist with medical expenses.

    “As far as I know, I paid all of Corey’s medical bills long before he put the GoFundMe out.”

    Rick told TMZ.

    Mescal’s departure has now been linked to claims that Scott blamed the Irish actor for the alleged underperformance of Gladiator II. Mescal’s representatives deny the reports, while Scott’s team has said they are ‘not true’.

    According to Puck’s Matt Belloni, Scott was unhappy with Mescal’s performance in the much-anticipated 2024 sequel. The director’s representatives have rejected that account.

    Gladiator II, the follow-up to Scott’s acclaimed 2000 epic, was viewed by some as a disappointment compared with the original. The film nevertheless earned $462 million worldwide, despite reports that its budget may have reached between $250 million and more than $300 million. Some critics also praised Mescal’s performance as Lucius.

    Why Paul Mescal reportedly left The Dog Stars

    Belloni, via World of Reel, reported that Scott believed Mescal wasn’t ‘masculine enough’ for the lead role in Gladiator II. Mescal then reportedly ‘dropped’ out of The Dog Stars, with Elordi taking over the part.

    At the time, Mescal’s exit from the project was attributed to ‘scheduling conflicts’ with Sam Mendes’ four-part Beatles film, in which the actor is playing Paul McCartney.

    Responding to the claims, Scott’s representatives told LADbible they were ‘not true’.

    “Ridley loves Paul and was excited to work with him on Dog Stars after having enjoying such a great collaboration on Gladiator 2.”

    Sadly, Paul’s rehearsal schedule for another film prevented him from ultimately doing Ridley’s film. While he was disappointed to lose Paul, he was thrilled to get the chance to work with Jacob, who was excellent in the role.”

    Belloni reported that The Dog Stars had an $89 million budget but opened to just $7.7 million during its first weekend. The LADbible Group has contacted Mescal’s representatives for comment.

    The Dog Stars receives mixed reviews

    The film has reportedly become one of Scott’s biggest box-office disappointments, performing poorly with both critics and audiences.

    On Rotten Tomatoes, The Dog Stars currently has a 39 percent Tomatometer score and a 71 percent Popcornmeter audience rating.

    One viewer described the film as ‘mediocre’, while another said they wanted to save others ‘from wasting two hours of their God given time on this film’.

    “Took a great book and made it a pretty stupid zombie apocalypse shoot ‘em up. Really disappointed,”

    A fourth viewer wrote:

    “Slow, not much of a plot. Simple ending. Kept waiting for the movie to take off never really did.”

    Other viewers said they were ‘blown away’ and ‘love everything about it’.

Many believe the move is primarily connected to promotion for her upcoming 10th studio album, while one fan suggested it could reflect the personal hardships she has experienced in recent years.

    Those experiences include the death of her godmother Dolly Parton, her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, the loss of her Malibu home in the California wildfires, a difficult period in her relationship with her father Billy Ray Cyrus and health problems affecting her voice.

    Divorce from Liam Hemsworth

    Miley’s decade-long, on-and-off relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth has also played a major role in her life. The pair met while filming the 2009 movie The Last Song, began dating and became engaged in 2012 before ending their relationship a year later.

    They reunited in 2016 and married in December 2018, but the relationship did not last. Hemsworth filed for divorce in August 2019, a decision Miley later said had disappointed her.

    An insider told PEOPLE at the time: She didn’t expect it and is a bit disappointed, but she is still doing well and has obviously moved on as well,

    Miley later wrote “Flowers” about the separation. The song went on to become her most successful release to date.

    Loss of her house during California wildfires

    In November 2018, Miley and Hemsworth lost their Malibu home in one of the wildfires that devastated California. Confirming the loss on X, Miley wrote: I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now.

    She added: My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong. I am grateful for all I have left.

    Miley later discussed the trauma of losing her home during a 2020 interview with Howard Stern. She said the experience had been a major factor in her decision to marry Hemsworth.

    I had so much and it was all gone, every song I had ever written was in that house, she explained. Every photograph of me that my parents had given to me, all my scripts, I lost everything.

    Tumultuous relationship with father Billy Ray Cyrus

    Miley’s relationship with her father, country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus, has been complicated in recent years. Although they played father and daughter in Hannah Montana, the pair were reportedly estranged for several years.

    The alleged feud was linked to Billy Ray’s 2022 divorce from Miley’s mother, Tish Cyrus. During an appearance on Monica Lewinsky’s podcast Recalaiming, Miley said she felt “a lot of loyalty” toward her mother during the separation.

    Miley and Billy Ray have since reconciled. She wrote the song “Secrets”, featuring rock musicians Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood, as a gift for her father.

    In an Instagram post last year, Miley explained: This song was written as a peace offering for someone I had lost for a time but always loved. In my experience, forgiveness and freedom are one and the same,

    She added: This song is for my dad.

    “Losing” her voice

    Last year, Miley revealed that she had been diagnosed with Reinke’s edema, a noncancerous vocal cord disorder commonly caused by swelling of tissue in the vocal cords. Symptoms can include a hoarse and noticeably deeper voice.

    Miley described the condition as “abuse of the vocal cords” and told Zane Lowe that, despite “drinking and smoking and partying” during her early 20s, she had always had the condition.

    My voice always sounded like this — it’s a part of my unique anatomy, she explained, adding that she also has a large polyp on her vocal cord.

    Explaining why she decided against corrective surgery, Miley said: I’m not willing to sever it ever, because the chance of waking up from a surgery and not sounding like myself is a possibility.

    Billie Eilish has faced renewed criticism over her past “stolen land” comments after officiating her brother Finneas O’Connell’s wedding in California.

    O’Connell, 29, married his girlfriend Claudia Sulewski over the weekend at San Ysidro Ranch in California, with Eilish conducting the ceremony.

    Billie Eilish’s Grammy comments resurface

    Criticism of the wedding location follows comments Eilish made earlier this year about immigration enforcement in the United States.

    In February, Eilish won the Grammy Award for Song of the Year for Wildflower. During her acceptance speech, she criticised raids carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which have resulted in people being detained for lengthy periods or killed.

    Wearing an “ICE out” badge, the 24-year-old said: “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land.”

    The comments have now been brought back into the debate over Eilish officiating her brother’s wedding. Some social media users criticised her for holding the ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch, which is located in an area that was once part of Chumash land before European colonisation.

    During her Grammy speech, Eilish also said: “It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I just feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter.”

    She added: “And f**k ICE, that’s all I’m gonna say. Sorry!”

    Why Eilish’s home was also discussed

    At the time, Eilish faced accusations of virtue signalling. Reports also noted that her home is situated on land that once belonged to the Native American Tongva tribe.

    A spokesperson for the Tongva expressed “appreciation” for Eilish’s speech in a statement: “As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land.”

    The statement continued: “Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, we do value the instance when public figures provide visibility to the true history of this country.“It is our hope that in future discussions, the tribe can explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles Basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory.”

    A law firm subsequently made what appeared to be an unsolicited and satirical offer to help “evict” Eilish from her home, although there has been no indication that the Tongva intended to pursue such action.

    O’Connell also defended his sister against the outrage of “powerful old white men”, describing those angry with Eilish as “the most cartoonishly evil men on Earth”. LADbible Group has contacted representatives of Billie Eilish for comment.
