    Rams head coach Sean McVay refused to cite travel or scheduling as mitigating factors in the post-game press conference. “I make no excuses. Whether you want to say it’s about travel, whatever. We just weren’t good enough,” McVay stated. “I didn’t coach good enough, and we’ll look at it and we’ll move forward.”

    Born on October 26, 1999, Brandt grew up in Sumner, Iowa. She established herself as a standout athlete at Sumner-Fredericksburg High School, where volleyball was her primary sport. She played all four years and served as team captain twice, also competing in track and field. After graduating in 2018, she took her talents to Iowa State University to play for the Cyclones volleyball program.
