Nicole Kidman and Daughter Faith Margaret Attend 2026 US Open in Style

Nicole Kidman and her 15-year-old daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban, turned heads with a coordinated fashion moment that quickly captured attention across social media and entertainment outlets. The Academy Award-winning actress and her daughter—whom she shares with country music star Keith Urban—stepped out in complementary ensembles that highlighted their shared sense of style.

    Mother-Daughter Style Statement

The pair appeared together at a recent public event, drawing immediate commentary for their polished, age-appropriate looks. Kidman, long regarded as a red-carpet staple, opted for a tailored silhouette in a neutral tone, while Faith Margaret wore a youthful yet sophisticated dress that echoed her mother’s elegance without mimicking it. Fashion observers noted the balance of individuality and cohesion in their outfits, a rarity in high-profile parent-child appearances.

    Family Dynamics in the Spotlight

Kidman and Urban, married since 2006, have generally kept their two daughters—Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 15—out of the public eye. Faith’s increased visibility in recent months marks a subtle shift, though the family continues to prioritize privacy. The actress has spoken in past interviews about raising her children away from Hollywood’s intensity, emphasizing normalcy and grounded values.

    Social Media Reaction

Photos of the duo circulated widely on platforms like Instagram and X, with users praising the understated glamour and the evident bond between mother and daughter. Style accounts dissected the details—fabric choices, shoe pairings, outerwear layers—while parenting commentators highlighted the rare glimpse into Kidman’s family life.

As Kidman continues a prolific acting phase with upcoming film and streaming projects, moments like these offer a brief, curated window into her off-screen world—one where fashion becomes a quiet language of connection.

  • Mirra Andreeva’s Coach Conchita Martínez: Press Conference Prank and Unlikely US Open Partnership Explained

Mirra Andreeva’s Coach Conchita Martínez: Press Conference Prank and Unlikely US Open Partnership Explained

Mirra Andreeva’s rapid ascent in women’s tennis is closely tied to one of the sport’s most accomplished coaches. Since joining forces ahead of the 2024 clay-court season, former world No. 2 and Wimbledon champion Conchita Martínez has guided the Russian teenager to multiple WTA titles and her first Grand Slam championship at the 2026 French Open. According to the WTA, Martínez remains Andreeva’s active coach as of the 2026 US Open.

    Who Is Conchita Martínez?

Born in Monzón, Spain, on April 16, 1972, Martínez built a distinguished playing career. She peaked at No. 2 in the world rankings in 1995, one year after capturing the Wimbledon title. She later reached the Australian Open final in 1998 and the French Open final in 2000.

Coaching Pedigree: From Garbiñe Muguruza to National Teams

After retiring from competition, Martínez transitioned into coaching, most notably guiding Garbiñe Muguruza to the 2017 Wimbledon crown. She also captained Spain’s Fed Cup team from 2013 to 2017 and the Davis Cup team from 2015 to 2017. That breadth of experience—managing elite talent and navigating high-stakes team environments—has made her an essential mentor for Andreeva, who has repeatedly praised Martínez’s understanding of the unique pressures facing a young player.

Andreeva-Martínez Partnership: Playful Chemistry and Tactical Trust

The duo’s rapport extends beyond the practice court. A lighthearted exchange during a post-match press conference captured the attention of tennis fans worldwide. As Martínez fielded questions, Andreeva walked to the back of the room and asked her coach to name the best part of working together.

Martínez joked that they get to play UNO together, adding that she always wins. Andreeva immediately fired back, “That’s it? Have fun,” to which Martínez quipped, “I’m fired.”

The moment highlighted an unusual chemistry. Despite a significant age gap, Andreeva has said she and Martínez “match in energy” and has credited her coach for recognizing exactly when she is nervous or excited.

Martínez’s Influence at the 2026 US Open

That dynamic was on full display during Andreeva’s third-round clash with Nikola Bartunkova. Martínez instructed her charge to trust herself and remember that she would always be there to offer advice. Andreeva responded by securing a straight-sets victory.

A former champion who knows how to handle pressure—and when to offer counsel or simply a smile—may prove the ideal complement for a teenager who already carries a Grand Slam title in her résumé.

  • Is Carlos Alcaraz Dating Claudia Canals? Tennis Star’s Romance Rumors Explained

Is Carlos Alcaraz Dating Claudia Canals? Tennis Star’s Romance Rumors Explained

Carlos Alcaraz Dating Rumors: What We Know About Claudia Canals

Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has returned to the 2026 US Open, reigniting interest not only in his pursuit of another Grand Slam title but also in his personal life. Speculation has intensified around a potential relationship with Claudia Canals, a Barcelona-based entrepreneur, though neither party has confirmed the rumors.

    How the Dating Rumors Started

The speculation began in July 2026 when photographs surfaced showing Alcaraz and Canals together on a yacht during the player’s summer break along the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Spanish media outlets subsequently identified Canals as the woman accompanying the tennis champion.

According to reports from Spain, the pair had known each other since early summer and had spent time together. However, the yacht outing included a group of friends, meaning the images alone do not confirm a romantic relationship. As of early September 2026, Alcaraz remains officially single, and neither he nor Canals has issued a public statement regarding their connection. Media outlets continue to describe Canals as his rumored girlfriend rather than a confirmed partner.

    Who Is Claudia Canals?

Canals is a Spanish entrepreneur and digital marketing professional from Barcelona. She founded CC Studio, a business specializing in content creation, social media strategy, and brand development. Her Instagram account, which has amassed over 45,000 followers, features lifestyle and fashion content. The July 2026 photos with Alcaraz brought her wider international recognition beyond Spain.

    Context: Alcaraz’s Return from Injury

The timing of the speculation coincides with Alcaraz’s recovery from a wrist injury that sidelined him for several months during the 2026 season. The extended layoff provided the world No. 1 with an unusual off-court break before his return to competitive tennis. Throughout his rehabilitation, Alcaraz has maintained privacy regarding his personal life while fans and media have closely monitored the rumors.

Focus Shifts Back to the Court

With the 2026 US Open underway, attention returns to Alcaraz’s quest to defend his title. The 23-year-old Spaniard enters the tournament after a challenging season interrupted by injury, aiming to add a third Grand Slam championship to his resume. For now, Claudia Canals remains linked to Alcaraz only through unverified reports, with no official confirmation from either side.

  • Andrey Rublev Enjoys Epic New York City Experience Before US Open Singles Tournament Begins

Andrey Rublev Enjoys Epic New York City Experience Before US Open Singles Tournament Begins

Andrey Rublev made the most of his limited downtime before the 2026 US Open by attending Harry Styles’ concert at Madison Square Garden.

Tennis players spend much of the year traveling between tournaments, leaving little time to explore the cities they visit. The week before the US Open can offer a brief chance to relax despite extensive media commitments. While players such as Iga Swiatek have attended Broadway shows, Rublev experienced a potentially once-in-a-lifetime evening watching the global pop star perform at MSG.

Andrey Rublev attends Harry Styles concert

It is unclear whether other players attended the concert, but Rublev appeared to enjoy the night. A video from the event was shared by @trackandcourt on TikTok.

Styles is performing a 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden through Oct. 31 as part of his Together, Together tour.

Rublev attended the concert on Saturday, the same night his coach, Marat Safin, watched Roger Federer’s induction at the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Andrey Rublev’s 2026 US Open draw

With the weekend festivities over, Rublev has turned his attention to the US Open. His first-round opponent is Finnish player Otto Virtanen, ranked No. 109 in the ATP rankings.

Rublev is the No. 23 seed at this year’s tournament. The 28-year-old has recorded his best Grand Slam results at the US Open, reaching the quarterfinals in 2017, 2020, 2022 and 2023.

The quarterfinal stage has proved to be Rublev’s biggest obstacle. He has reached the quarterfinals, but never the semifinals, in men’s singles at each Grand Slam tournament.

Rublev’s fans will hope 2026 is the year he breaks through at the US Open. He reached the mixed doubles semifinals with Mirra Andreeva last week, which could provide an encouraging sign heading into the singles tournament.

  • Jessica Pegula Overcomes Nerves to Open US Open With Win Over Ruse

Jessica Pegula Overcomes Nerves to Open US Open With Win Over Ruse

Jessica Pegula and Marta Kostyuk made winning starts at the 2026 US Open on Sunday, earning an extra day of rest before their second-round matches.

Pegula, one of the first players to compete at this year’s tournament, said starting on Sunday offered a mental advantage after her experience last year.

“It is a little bit weird, but I did kind of enjoy that I could breathe for the next couple of days and everyone else is still freaking out about whether they’re going to win their first round,” she said.

That early start can feel very different after a loss.

“We were just talking about it, and I said it’s so nice to play on Sunday when you win. But if you lose it’s not nice, because you feel like the tournament didn’t even start and you’re out of it,” No. 11 seed Marta Kostyuk said.

No. 3 seed Pegula defeated Elena-Gabriela Ruse 6-3, 6-2. The 2024 US Open runner-up said she felt nervous at the beginning, with a potential path to the world No. 1 ranking adding to the stakes.

Pegula leads the women’s tour with 46 wins this season. She has won two titles and reached three additional finals. She can rise to No. 1 if she captures her first major championship and No. 2 Elena Rybakina loses before the semifinals.

“I felt really nervous before I went out there, but I know my coaches were like, ‘You didn’t really look that nervous. We thought you played great,’” Pegula said.

Pegula will next play Sofia Kenin, who defeated fellow American wild card Venus Williams 6-2, 7-6 (6). The match began at 12:13 a.m., making it the latest start to a match at the US Open.

Kostyuk also advanced comfortably, beating Storm Hunter 6-4, 6-1. The victory gave Kostyuk a strong opening at the year’s final Grand Slam after she reached the semifinals at both the French Open and Wimbledon.

Sunday winners at the US Open

This was the second year featuring a Sunday start at the US Open, although several of the tournament’s biggest names will begin their campaigns Monday. Two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka faces Camila Osorio, while former champions Naomi Osaka, Iga Swiatek and Sloane Stephens are also scheduled to play. Wimbledon champion Linda Noskova is on Monday’s schedule as well.

Other winners Sunday included No. 9 seed Elina Svitolina, No. 19 Jasmine Paolini and No. 31 Leylah Fernandez, the 2021 US Open runner-up.

No. 27 seed Barbora Krejcikova, a two-time Grand Slam singles champion, lost to Kamilla Rakhimova 7-6 (4), 6-2.

Rain prevented seven matches from being completed. One men’s match was also delayed despite being played in the other stadium equipped with a retractable roof.
